How long do the batteries last?
Battery life varies by model: tago mini lasts up to 1 year, tago pro up to 18 months, and tago pro max up to 2 years under normal usage conditions. All devices except the pro max model have user-replaceable CR2032 batteries.
What is the maximum Bluetooth range?
The tago mini and Card have a range of approximately 200 feet (60 meters) in open spaces, while the tago pro extends this to 400 feet (120 meters). Range may be reduced by walls and other obstacles.
Are tagotrack devices waterproof?
The tago mini and pro are rated IP67, meaning they can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. The tago pro max is splash-resistant but not fully waterproof due to its slim design.
How does the community finding feature work?
When you mark an item as lost in the app, any tagotrack user whose device comes within range of your tag will anonymously update its location in our system. You’ll receive a notification with the updated location, helping you track items beyond your own Bluetooth range.
Is there a subscription fee for using tagotrack?
No, tagotrack devices work without any subscription fees. All features, including the community finding network, are available for free after purchasing the device. The only additional cost would be for battery replacement when needed.
